History

The Allied Masonic Degrees is a collection of distinct Masonic degrees that originated as independent rites or side degrees before being unified under a single governing body, the Grand Council of the Order of Allied Masonic Degrees of England and Wales and its Districts and Councils Overseas. These degrees, including St. Lawrence the Martyr, the Degree of the Knights of Constantinople, the Degree of Grand Tilers of Solomon, the Red Cross of Babylon, and the Holy Order of the Grand High Priest, are not sequential but offer deeper moral and philosophical insights into Masonic teachings.

RPLAMD is Established

On March 19 2025, the Royal Philanthropic Lodge of Allied Masonic Degrees No. 287 was officially consecrated by District Grand Prefect R.W. Bro. Richard Mayers and his officers This milestone event marked the beginning of a new chapter for the Lodge, dedicated to fostering Masonic knowledge, fellowship, and service.

How to Join

The Royal Philanthropic Lodge of Allied Masonic Degrees No. 287 welcomes Masons to explore the rich traditions and teachings of its degrees. Membership is open to Royal Arch Companions and Mark Master Masons from the Royal Philanthropic Lodge, as well as from other lodges.

Our Leadership

The Worshipful Master of the Allied Masonic Degrees (AMD) is the presiding officer of a Council, responsible for leading meetings, upholding Masonic traditions, and ensuring the smooth operation of the body . Their role is one of service, leadership, and dedication to the esoteric teachings and charitable principles of the AMD.
